TEST TEST <number> |
Plays different sounds assigned to the Windows standard events. TEST 0 or TEST without any number play a beep through the built-in speaker and the standard bell sound. TEST 1 plays the standard bell sound. TEST 2 plays the information sound. TEST 3 plays the warning sound. TEST 4 plays the critical sound. TEST 5 plays the question sound. |
GHDL <filename> | Requests a handle for the file filename. The answer is -1 if the sound file does not exist in the cache or default directory. Any other positive answer number can later be referenced as handle to a sound. |
RHDL <handle> | Releases handle. The Audio Server unloads the sound assigned to that handle number |
PTFI <filename> <size> | Prepare the Audio Server to receive the file filename with total length size in bytes. The binary data has to be send directly after the PTFI command. The file will be stored in the cache directory. |
PLAY <handle> | Plays the sound referenced by the handle number |
STOP <handle> | Stops the sound referenced by the handle number |
SSPO <handle> <x> <y> <z> | Set sound position to {x,y,z} coordinates. |
SSVO <handle> <gain> | Sets the sound gain, values from 0.0 to 1.0 |
SSLP <handle> <loop> | Enables (loop=1) or disables (loop=0) sound looping. |
SSVE <handle> <velocity> | Sets the sound velocity, values from -1.0 to 1.0 |
SSDI <handle> <direction> SSDI <handle> <x> <y> <z> |
Sets the sound direction, values from -360.0 to 360.0 or vector |
SSDV <handle> <direction> <gain> | Sets the sound direction and gain in one command. See SSDI and SSVO for details. |
SSDR <handle> <direction> | Sets the sound direction relative to the listener position. Values for direction from -360.0 to 360.0 |
SSRV <handle> <direction> <gain> SSRV <handle> <x> <y> <z> <gain> |
Sets the sound direction relative to the listener position and the gain in one command. See SSDR and SSVO for details. |
SYNC | This command can be used to measure the transmission and procesing time. The Audio Server answers also with SYNC. |
QUIT | Releases sound sources and closes the connection |
